Installing Templates

How to install templates in Best Practice
  1. Download the template to your computer – make sure you do NOT open it once it is downloaded.
  2. Start Best Practice
  3. Open the Word Processor
  4. From the Templates menu select Import templates
  5. Locate the downloaded file and Open
  6. From the File menu select Save as – give the template an appropriate name and click Save
How to install templates in Medical Director
  1. Download the template to your computer – make sure you do NOT open it once it is downloaded.
  2. Open Medical Director
  3. Open the Letter Writer (from Tools>Letter Writer)
  4. From the File menu, select Modify Template
  5. Select Blank Template, then click Open
  6. From the File menu select Import, then locate the downloaded template file and click Open
  7. Finally, from the File menu, select Save as Template, give it an appropriate name, select All Users for User Access, then click Save
How to install templates in ZedMed
  1. Download the template to your computer – make sure you do NOT open it once it is downloaded.
  2. Start ZedMed
  3. Go to Tools, Clinical WP Setup and select WP Templates.
  4. Click on File and select Import Template.
  5. Click on the Browse button and find the location of where the document you wish to import is saved, and click on it to select.
  6. Click Open.
  7. Type in a name for the template in the Description field.
  8. Click on OK.

Your template has now been imported successfully into Zedmed Clinical and will be available to choose from under the ‘My Templates’ section
