Dedicated dietitians and a registered psychologist provide personalised support for individuals with diagnosed eating disorders and disordered eating.
We provide tailored services using evidence-based methods and expert dietary guidance.
While people with eating disorders exhibit disordered eating, not all individuals with disordered eating meet the criteria for an eating disorder. The distinction lies in the frequency and severity of the behaviours and the distress they cause.
Individuals might resort to disordered eating to cope with uncomfortable emotions, using a focus on weight and calorie intake as a distraction from other issues in their lives.
Those engaging in disordered eating behaviours often experience extreme anxiety around food. They might meticulously track their daily calorie intake, exercise obsessively, or avoid social situations involving food.
