Information provided via online forms may be stored in databases. Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was provided.  Your email address will be recorded if you send us a message. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

When you access this Site, a record of your visit will be kept. The logged information will only be used for statistical purposes. In the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our logs.

Who we share your data with

We don’t disclose information about you unless you agree, or would reasonably expect us to, or explicitly described in this Website Privacy Policy Statement.

If you subscribe to any of our newsletters, or enter your information to any website forms, your email address may be added to a newsletter mailing list, which is managed by a third party (Mailchimp). You can view Mailchimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

How to unsubscribe

All of our newsletters feature an easy unsubscribe link in the footer.

When you unsubscribe from a newsletter managed by Mailchimp, your details remain on the list of past recipients. This is a measure to prevent circumstances where you may be accidentally re-added to a distribution list. However, if you wish for your details to be permanently deleted from our list, please contact us via email at privacy@blackswanhealth.com.au.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have contacted us via an online form on this website, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.  You can lodge your request via email to privacy@blackswanhealth.com.au.

What data breach procedures we have in place

If a data breach triggers the requirements of the Notifiable Data Breach scheme, Black Swan Health is required to notify particular individuals and the AIC Commissioner about eligible data breaches.
