Emma Jensen graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2019 in Bunbury, WA. A few years into her nursing career Emma was encouraged to apply for a Diabetes Educator role and was awarded a scholarship to expand her knowledge in diabetes and complete her postgraduate studies. Emma completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Diabetes Education at Curtin University in 2022 and achieved Credentialling with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) in 2024. She has worked across both public and private hospitals in Perth, gaining experience in managing Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3c diabetes with lifestyle, medication, and/or technology.
Emma is passionate about supporting and empowering patients, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to take charge of their diabetes journey.
