Brian (he/they) is a Registered Psychologist with a holistic and flexible approach, blending multiple therapeutic modalities to fit each individual’s needs. His practice is grounded in trauma-informedstrengths-based, and neuro-affirming principles. He has a particular passion for meaning and purpose, and an interest in cross-neurotype communication and relationships.
Brian’s areas of expertise and experience include working with neurodiverse individuals, young people, carers, helpers, and those from “third culture” and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds.
His therapeutic approach draws from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Logotherapy, and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS). This is all built on a theoretical foundation of attachment, psychodynamics, and existential psychology.
Brian has supported people across the lifespan with a wide range of concerns, with a particular focus on trauma, adjustment, and anxiety. While he often provides long-term support for meaningful change, he is also adept at single-session therapy when it’s a better fit for the client.
