Athalie specialises in the treatment of phobias and behaviour management, including addiction and behavioural disorders in children; an interest that she developed from her work at a national addictions management service.

Athalie is well-versed in the treatment of panic disorders, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety and other conditions across all ages and backgrounds. She uses a range of evidence-based techniques, from mindfulness training to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to accommodate the unique needs and nature of her clients.

Athalie has a special interest in youth counselling and has experience with emotional disorders, phobias, behavioural issues, separation anxiety, and numerous other presentations in both children and adolescents. Athalie has also volunteered with children for over 6 years as a Children Ministry Team Leader in her local community.

Athalie builds trusting and genuine therapeutic relationships with her clients, working alongside her clients to help them achieve their personal goals and reach their potentials. She loves being able to facilitate personal growth and help her clients to recognise the importance of challenging periods of their lives.
