Exercise Right for Active Ageing

Exercise Right for Active Ageing: Group exercise for over 65’s

Exercise Right for Active Ageing is designed to help over 65’s to get moving in a safe and social environment, tailored to all ability levels.

Over 12 weeks, our trained exercise physiologists will take you through a range of exercises and activities to enhance your strength, coordination and general fitness levels in a safe, fun and interactive environment.

The program is open to older Australians who are inactive and over the age of 65. Inactive older Australians include those participating in less than 30 minutes a day of moderate exercise.

Once a pre-exercise screening assessment has been completed by one of our Exercise Physiologists, you are eligible to attend a free trial class where you can experience our classes first hand.

The next step is to undergo an initial assessment by our Exercise Physiologists, after which you are ready to join our group training classes.

Classes run once per week for 12 weeks across our Midland and Osborne Park sites.

How much does it cost?

The pre-exercise screening and trial class are free. The initial assessment by our Exercise Physiologist costs $18.50 and group training sessions are $8 each.

Classes are run from our Osborne Park & Midland locations.

Class times are Monday from 9:30 to 10:30am and Thursday from 10.00 to 11.00am.
