Primary Care Asthma Update

Brought to you by the National Asthma Council Australia as part of the Asthma Best Practice for Professionals Program and hosted by Black Swan Health, the Primary Care Asthma Update covers the essentials of best-practice asthma and respiratory management for primary care health professionals.
This workshop is appropriate for primary healthcare professionals, including GPs, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Physiotherapists and more.
Dr Alan Wright MBBS, MFM, GCUT, is the key presenter at this event. Dr Wright is a GP, volunteer, educator and past board member for the Asthma Foundation of WA. Dr Wright was a member of the working party for the 2014 Asthma Management Handbook.
Learning outcomes include:
- Increase knowledge and awareness of current, evidence-based best practice in asthma and respiratory management.
- Develop practical skills to support the use of evidence-based procedures and practices.
- Learn strategies to incorporate these skills and knowledge systematically into routine clinical practice.
- Increase confidence in managing patients with asthma and linked chronic respiratory condition.
