Pain management for chronic headaches and migraines GP event

University of Notre Dame Australia professor Eric Visser and Churack Chair of Chronic Pain Education and Research will outline the practical management of chronic daily headaches including migraines, cluster, medication-overuse and cervicogenic headache (e.g. post whiplash).
As part of this presentation, professor Visser will discuss the place of the occipital nerve blocks and trigger point injections, facet blocks, and cefaly transcranial TENS and botox.
Attendees are encouraged to bring along any questions or case studies.
Black Swan Health pain physiotherapist and clinical facilitator Simone Berzen will give a short presentation on the Persistent Pain Program delivered by Black Swan Health’s health and wellness team.
