About Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a debilitating, complex and serious mental illness which is poorly understood. People with BPD suffer greatly. Their families, partners and carers share their distress. There is a high rate of self-injury amongst people with BPD, more than any other group, as well as a significant rate of suicide attempts with one in ten people dying through suicide.
